Cheryl Wheeler
The Studios of Key West Presents OLD TOWN NEW FOLK CONCERTS
It has always seemed as if there were two Cheryl Wheelers, the New England songwriter who is sure to wow the audience in Key West. There is the poet Cheryl, writer of some of the prettiest, most alluring and intelligent ballads on the modern folk scene. And there is her evil twin, comic Cheryl, a militant trend defier and savagely funny social critic. The result is a delightful contrast between poet and comic, yin and yang, calm and raucous. Don't miss Cheryl Wheeler at Old Town New Folk, two singer-songwriters, one night only!
The concert is March 11th at 8 pm; Studios of Key West - 600 White Street. Tickets are $25 plus handling fee.
Old Town New Folk sponsored by Margaritaville and Blue Heaven. Cheryl Wheeler’s appearance is supported by ARCHEO Gallery.
David Wilcox in concert is an encore performance from last year's sold-out event. David is an Ashville Airstreamer whose versatile baritone belts ballads to acoustic soul. www.davidwilcox.com
